Bridge play

NORWAY – Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met Dec. 22 at the Fare Share Commons, Main Street.

Finishing first in Flight A, an individual game, was Mike Quinn; second, Richard Allen; third, Jim Dickens, first in Flight B. Tied for 2/4 were Barbara Beegel, Bev Dolan and Eleanor Griffin.

Society meeting

FRYEBURG – The Fryeburg Historical Society will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 2, at the American Legion Hall, Bradley Street.

There will be a potluck supper at 6 p.m., and those attending are asked to bring a main dish, salad or dessert. At 7 p.m. there will be a business meeting and election of the officers for 2007, after which Erlon Jones will present a program on the “History of Ski Tows in Fryeburg,” including Starks Hill and Jockey Cap.
