Patty Duguay, director of the River Valley Healthy Communities, will present information on recycling and waste reduction. There have been a number of changes and she hopes to show participants how simple it is. In 2005 the Northern Oxford Solid Waste Board paid $55 a ton to dispose of solid waste, but received revenues for recycling at more than $66 a ton.

There will also be updates on other local organizations’ community activities, including programs of the Healthy Communities.

The meeting is open to the public. For more information, contact the Healthy Communities at 364-7408.
