BRIDGTON – Police are looking for two men they say kidnapped a Naples man from a Bridgton Dunkin’ Donuts, robbed him and left him in Naples.

The suspects are Dean L. Tosi Jr. and Jerry D. Gibson, both 25 and from the Lewiston area.

Police believe Tosi and Gibson kidnapped the man from the parking lot of the Dunkin’ Donuts on Route 302 around noon, showing him a gun and threatening to hurt him and his family. They stole $3,800 and two men’s rings before dropping him.

The man was slightly injured but did not require medical attention. Because he said he was threatened, police declined to name him or say exactly where in Naples he was dropped off.

Lewiston, Auburn, Bridgton and Maine State police searched for Tosi and Gibson on Saturday. Bridgton Sgt. Douglas Taft said the vehicle Tosi and Gibson used was “unknown.”

There was no connection between Dunkin’ Donuts and the men, police said.

Taft described Tosi as a white man, 6-feet-4 inches tall and weighing 185 pounds. He has black hair and blue eyes. Gibson is also a white man, 6-feet-2-inches tall and weighing 175 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who sees the men should use caution, Taft said.

Police ask that anyone who has information about the men or the incident call their local police department or the Bridgton Police Department at 647-8814.
