LEWISTON – The Marriage Course is being offered by the Vineyard Church of Lewiston at DaVinci’s Eatery.

The Marriage Course is a practical seven-week course designed to give married couples the tools to build a strong and healthy marriage that lasts a lifetime.

It is for married couples who want to invest in their relationship. Some couples who have attended the course have been married less than two years, while others for more than 30.

The course is beneficial for those whose marriage is already strong. It also helps couples who are going through difficulties. They are able to re-open communication in a guided and constructive way. Some couples who are separated or divorced have used the course as a way of trying to get back together.

While the course is based on Christian principles, it is designed for couples with or without a church background.

The Marriage Course will be offered over seven consecutive Monday nights at DaVinci’s Eatery in the Bates Mill Complex, 35 Canal St. After a meal couples will watch a video on an aspect of marriage.

During each evening there will be opportunities for the couple to discuss the topics. There is no group work, and music is played during the breaks so that no one can be overheard.

The course will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Mondays, from Feb. 18 to April 2. Cost is $100 a couple and includes dinner and course materials. To register or for more information, contact the Vineyard Church of Lewiston at 784-9500.
