John Benoit of Clean Harbors Environmental Services signals to coworkers Tuesday as they unload fuel oil from a delivery truck from Cash Energy Inc. of Scarborough. The truck was traveling down River Road in Lewiston when it went over the embankment and flipped on its side near the Maine Turnpike overpass. Police say driver Jonathan Tremain, 40, of Bowdoinham lost control about 8 a.m. and drove the truck into a ditch. He was not hurt, the police report stated. The truck flipped but less than 20 gallons of oil were spilled. Police had the accident cleaned up and the road open for traffic by 12:30 p.m.
