AUGUSTA – “Concerts at Jewett” will feature the Downeast Brass Quintet at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, at Jewett Hall Auditorium. The ensemble’s program, “Blast Away the Winter Blahs,” will include some pops and some classical.

Members of the Downeast Brass Quintet, five experienced musicians from southern and central Maine, enjoy playing a wide range of styles, from classical to Dixieland. As music educators, they seek to reach audiences of all ages with original and entertaining programming.

Tickets are $10, $5 for students; children 12 and younger, free. Tickets are available at Pat’s Pizza in Augusta, Apple Valley Books in Winthrop, Al Corey Music Center in Waterville, and at the door. The next concert, featuring Ladies of the Lake, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 18.
