On Thanksgiving morning members of the Lisbon Pack 109 assisted the Lisbon Rotary Club with their annual community Thanksgiving dinner held at Lisbon High School. The dinner is free and open to the public for anyone who would like to attend. Meals are also delivered in the Lisbon community to those who are not able to come to the dinner at the high school. Each year, members of the Scouts, along with Lisbon high school students involved in the Interact Club, volunteer to assist the Rotarians with this event as a community service project. It is a wonderful experience to help people out in our local community. “It is a great feeling for all involved in the project to give back to our community especially on Thanksgiving,” commented Scout Leader, Allen Ward.
