AUBURN – In celebration of National Child Passenger Safety Week Feb. 11 through 17, Safe Kids Maine will conduct interactive exhibits on safety in and around cars for parents and children.
The exhibits will be held at Center Court of the Maine Mall in South Portland from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10. The event is free and drawings for free booster seats will be conducted.
Free child safety seat inspections will be conducted during the week at the following locations: 2 to 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, Auburn Police Department, 1 Minot Ave.; 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, Falmouth Fire, EMS Department, 6 Bucknam Road; 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, Augusta Armory, Western Avenue; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 17, Windham Fire, Rescue Department, Route 302.
