LEWISTON – Androscoggin County Republicans will hold their annual Lincoln Day Dinner and Auction on Friday, Feb. 23, at the Ramada Inn.

Joe Bruno, chairman of the Maine Republican Party and former Republican leader of the Maine House of Representatives, will be the speaker.

The Lincoln Day Dinner is held annually in honor of Abraham Lincoln.

The social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner, program and speaker. The auction will follow. The cost, which includes dinner, is $30. Reservations should be made by Feb. 19 by contacting Rosemarie Butler at 782-6373. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

Bruno is a director of Waldron Group of Companies and CEO of Community Pharmacies. After leaving the Legislature, he was elected selectman in Raymond, defeating a three-term incumbent. In December 2006, he was elected to serve as chairman of the Maine Republican party.
