On Tuesday, Feb. 27, residents of Lewiston have a chance to vote for a replacement to Pettingill School.

My son goes to Pettingill now. I love that he can walk to school. I love that it is small and friendly. I love the teachers. But, I hate that there is so little space.

I hate that the gym is the cafeteria. I hate that there is no room for art, just a cart. I hate that the kids have to go outside to reach the library. So while I’ll be sad to leave our little school, I’ll be happy to leave all those problems behind. Please join with me and vote for the new school referendum.
