RANGELEY – The Rangeley Lakes Cross Country Ski Club is hosting the TD Banknorth Rangeley Lakes Loppet, March 3. It is a marathon Nordic race involving a 25k loop course. Racers can register for the 25k or the 50k race.

The Rangeley Lakes Trails Center is operated by the Rangeley Lakes Cross Country Ski Club, a non-profit organization.

The Maine Ski Challenge is held on weekends at various Maine ski areas. Top skiers in each division will meet for the championship at the end of the season

Snowboard camp set

NEWRY – Female snowboarders will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best instructors in the industry at the Roxy Snowboard Camp, scheduled for March 3 at Sunday River.

The camp provides women and girls over age 13 the opportunity to develop their skills in a comfortable atmosphere, with female instructors.

Cost of the camp is $95, which includes lunch.
