AUBURN – The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will present a workshop for anyone who manages or supervises others.
“The Personal Level of Leadership” (CCS 041-01) will be held on four consecutive Thursdays, March 8 through 29, from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost of the 12-hour program is $205 and includes materials.
Based on “The Four Agreements” by Don Miguel Ruiz, the workshop will help participants discover how each affects all aspects of living and working with others.
Participants will learn how to engage with positive reinforcement and allow personal growth to develop throughout the company, identify the individual personal concerns of others and provide an awareness of misunderstandings that are a part of all human existence.
The program will be facilitated by Susan Shaw. She has been facilitating personal communication and development workshops for area agencies since 1993. In 2002, she founded Market Smart Natural Foods and Holistic Center in Gray. Shaw graduated from Andover College with an associate’s degree in applied science office management – paralegal. She is also a Reiki master.
