PARIS – The Oxford Hills Chapter, AARP, will meet Monday, March 12, at the First Congregational Church, East Main Street, Paris.

Lunch will be at noon, and reservations are required by calling Audrey at 743-1643 by noon Friday March 9. Cost is $6.50. The menu is ham with raisin sauce, mashed potato and vegetable. The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. followed by speakers, Henry and Shirley Hamilton. The topic will be “Afghanistan Then and Now.’

Heywood Club

NORWAY – The Heywood Club will meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, March 12, at the home of Sheila Morse, 395 Crockett Ridge. Pat Gott will be the speaker, sharing information on her writing and her volunteer work.

Plans for upcoming events will be discussed. Members are encouraged to invite new neighbors. For more information or to arrange for transportation, call 743-2570.

Potluck supper

WATERFORD – The Wilkins Community House will hold a community potluck supper at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 15. All are welcome. Those attending are invited to bring a friend and a dish to share. Beverages and breads will be provided.

The hosts this month will be Donna and Tony Butterall. The Community House is located on Plummer Hill Road.

Men’s club meal

PARIS – The Men’s Club of the First Congregational Church, 17 East Main St., Paris, invites the public to attend a roast pork supper from 6 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 9, in the vestry of the church.

The menu will include mashed potatoes, rolls and veggies plus brownies and ice cream for adults, $7, and children under 12, $4. Proceeds will be used for the church fuel fund. For more information, call the church office at 743-2437. Tickets will be sold at the door.
