Seventh graders taking French class this year have a new program to help them learn the language. It is called the Rosetta Stone Program. The program just became available. It is listening, speaking, reading, and writing based. The program is used on the students’ laptops and lets them learn French at their own pace. They can progress through different levels of difficulty by taking tests on the program when they are ready. The program allows students to record and compare themselves to a native French speaker. It includes other languages, including Spanish. It is also available to French students online at home.
