MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) – A Berlin man who dismantled explosives in Iraq for an environmental management, consulting and technical services company was killed on the job Thursday, WMUR-TV reported.

Donald Neil, 44, was handling an explosive when it detonated, his sister told the station. He had been working for a company called Tetra Tech, based in California.

It was Neil’s second tour in Iraq as a civilian. Neil had served in the U.S. Army for more than 20 years.
