In opening action, Spiked & Dangerous (2) defeated Fontaine Team (3), 21-19, 21-11; Janet McCarthy, Realty swept E.J. Drywall (4), 21-13, 21-16; and Fontaine eliminated Drywall, 21-12, 21-12.
