After reading Paul Kuritz’ response March 20 to the article “I don’t want to go back” that was printed March 16, I think the Sun Journal owes Mr. Kuritz and his son, Spc. James Kuritz, a public apology, printed on Page 1 in letters just as large as those in the article. And soon.
When I read the article, I was in a state of disbelief. Never have I talked to a serviceman or woman returned from Iraq who said anything like the reporter’s quotes of Spc. Kuritz. Every serviceman told me that we are doing the right thing in Iraq.
I am delighted to add James Kuritz back to my list of heroes back from Iraq who all stand tall.
Your paper and reporting has sunk another notch in my opinion.
