BATH – The Androscoggin Valley Soil and Water Conservation District is partnering with Midcoast Council for Business Development and Planning, to offer municipal officials and contractors an update on recent changes in rules for the stormwater management law.

A municipal stormwater management workshop will be offered free from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, at the Bath City Hall auditorium, 55 Front St. Preregistration is required.

Instructor will be LaMarr Cannon, coordinator with Maine Non-point Education for Municipal Officials. Topics will include updating town stormwater ordinances to reflect the new Department of Environmental Protection rules, how the new rules impact development and incorporating low impact development on smaller projects.
