SALEM TOWNSHIP – SAD 58 Adult and Community Education will offer a driver’s education course for students age 15 or older beginning Tuesday, April 3, at Mt. Abram High School. The course will end May 11.
The classroom instruction will be followed by driving rotations with multiple certified and licensed driving instructors. Classes will be held from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and a late bus will be available. Students should plan to have no absences and must be passing all classes to participate.
The maximum classroom size is 20 and course will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is $400, payable in full by the start of class (no exceptions) to SAD 58 Adult and Community Education at Mt. Abram High School.
Student must provide, along with payment, an original birth certificate (no exceptions) and a photocopy of the student’s signed social security card. Documents will be returned in a timely manner, but students must provide them prior to the start of class.
