RUMFORD – A Relay For Life Chili-Chowder Cook-Off will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at the American Legion Hall on Congress Street.

The public will do the judging: donation is 50 cents a taste. The winner will receive a trophy and bragging rights. Those going for the challenge are asked to make at least 12 quarts of chili or chowder. Crackers will be provided.

The Relay Committee will also have a bake sale during the competition and they welcome donations of baked goods. All proceeds will benefit Relay For Life-North Oxford Unit, which encompasses the River Valley area.
