LEWISTON – Breanna Joy Witten of Lewiston has been selected to participate in Nationals’ 2007 Miss Junior Teen Portland pageant competition on April 22. Witten learned of her acceptance as Nationals announced their selections.

Witten submitted an application and took part in an interview conducted by Patty Neidert, Portland pageant coordinator.

Witten will compete, for a share of more than $20,000 in prizes and specialty gifts that will be distributed to contestants. The Miss Junior Teen division will have young women competing in modeling routines, including casual and formal wear. Witten will also interview with a Portland judging panel. Personality is the number one aspect that each contestant is judged on during the competition.

Miss Junior Teen Portland will represent Portland and the surrounding communities at the Cities of America National Competition in Orlando, Fla.
