AUBURN – The Panda Garden, at 245 Center St., won two awards during a recent Top 100 Chinese Restaurants listing sponsored by Chinese Restaurant News.

The announcement was made at the All Asia Food Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The restaurant won the Rising Star Award and placed No. 19 of out of 43,139 participating restaurants. Some of the judges included Martin Yan, a TV host and celebrity chef, as well as Jacqueline Newman, the chief editor of Fortune Magazine.

Owner Linda Wu and her family have operated the Panda Garden for nearly three years.
