More than 30 showed up at 94 River St. in Rumford recently to celebrate the River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition’s 10-year anniversary. Executive Director Patty Duguay thanked those in attendance for their commitment and support of the grassroots community organization. The coalition oversees a number of programs, including issues around tobacco, obesity, nutrition, physical activity, oral health, lead poisoning prevention, arts and cultural opportunities, youth and elder issues.
