Well, here we go again.

I was watching the news on March 28 and got very angry about one of the featured stories. The people of Maine are very angry about the condition of the roads and bridges, with which I agree. That is not why I was angry. What got me angry is that the state wants to do a survey and bond the money out, which is more money the people of Maine have to pay back.

About 30 years ago, didn’t the people of Maine vote to have a state lottery, which was supposed to take care of that? And the schools, and also lower property taxes?

Well, the roads are worse now than they where then; the school are also, and property taxes are on the rise.

I guess Big Brother is spending that money on something else, but what that is, we can never know. State officials tell us it goes into a “general fund.” Well, what is the general fund used for? I challenge the attorney general to investigate that, because someone isn’t telling the truth.

I think the people of Maine are entitled to know where that money is going.
