FREEPORT – Families looking for fun during school vacation week will find it at the L.L. Bean flagship store on Main Street April 14-22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. On tap are such activities as fly casting, an up-close look at live owls with Marcia and Mark Wilson, contests and knot-tying demonstrations, and signings by authors and illustrators of popular children’s books.

Entertainment will include juggling by Jason Tardy and Mike Miclon; music by Judy Pancoast, Sammie Haynes and Leslie Smith; and the magic of Peter Gross and Peter Boie.

Kids Spring Fun Week is open to the public and free.
