RUMFORD – Kathy Lynn Emerson, a noted local author, will visit the Rumford Public Library at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 17. She has written the “Face Down” mystery series set in Elizabethan times, the “Diana Spaulding” series set in the late 1800s, which has a Maine connection, and many other titles from romance to nonfiction.

Her new “Diana Spaulding” title is “No Mortal Reason.”

There will be a question-and-discussion time, and Emerson will sign copies of her books.
