WILTON – A second SAD 9 director’s position has opened with the resignation of Kristi Backus, said Town Clerk Linda Jellison.

Nomination papers are available for Backus’ two-year term as well as Robert Pullo’s three-year term. Papers need to be returned to the town office by April 27.

Backus’ resignation is effective immediately, Jellison said. Backus is involved with her college studies and family life and felt that she needed to resign after serving for one year, she said.
