LEWISTON – Post 22, American Legion, will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at the Multi-Purpose Center, 145 Birth St.

Part of the meeting will be designated to observe Patriots Day and hold a memorial service for the members of the military from the state who have lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The agenda includes election of officers for 2007-2008. All members attending have to have paid-up 2007 membership cards in order to vote. Members can pay their memberships when they attend the meeting to be eligible to vote.

Continuous years membership certificates will be given to members who have attained the honor.
