Society program

NEW VINEYARD – The New Vineyard Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, in the historical room. The subject will be “Show and Tell.” Members are asked to take something old or something of general interest to discuss. All are welcome.

DAR speaker

FARMINGTON – Jim Logan, owner of Twice Sold Tales Bookshop, will be the featured speaker at the Colonial Daughters Chapter, DAR, meeting being held Tuesday, April 24, at the Ferro House, University of Maine at Farmington. The meeting will start at noon with a light lunch and social gathering, followed by Logan’s talk on Maine books, then the meeting. The meeting is open to the public.
