LEWISTON – John Votto enjoyed a bowling night he’ll never forget.

The veteran bowler, competing recently in the Industrial Park League at Lewiston’s Spare-Time Recreation, set new house, association and state records, with an 858 series, according to Gerry Biron, spokesman for the local association.

Votto began the night with a perfect 300 game. He then rolled a nifty 279 in his next two strings for a fabulous 858.
