OXFORD – Oxford Grange, Route 26 is sponsoring a potluck supper meeting at 6 p.m. Friday, April 27, to discuss ways to teach young people to eat healthier foods, use school gardens and greenhouses as a method to teach about food production system and how to get more locally grown foods into school lunch programs.
Students, parents, school staff, farmers and anyone else in SAD 17 or School Union 29 who has an interest in these topics are invited to attend. Guests are asked to bring a dish prepared from locally grown food to share with others. Drinks and desert will be provided.
This will be a brainstorming session, with more meetings scheduled as needed. For more information, call 515-6834 or 998-2301.
