LEWISTON – Registration is still open for the 2007 MS Manpower Walk, which takes place Saturday, April 28, at 11 sites throughout Maine.

Participants can register online at www.msmaine.org or call the Maine Chapter, National MS Society at 1-800-FIGHT-MS (1-800-344-4867) and press 2. Registrations will also be accepted at walk sites until 9 a.m. the day of the walk. Participants who are under 18 years of age and who wish to register the day of the walk must be accompanied by an adult. Each walker is encouraged to raise $100.

The walk will take place in 11 locations including Augusta: Togus Veterans Administration Medical Center; Androscoggin County, Lewiston High School; Brunswick: Brunswick Junior High School; and Greater Portland/Scarborough: Scarborough High School.

Registration will be at 8 a.m. and the walks will begin at 9:15.
