NORWAY – The AARP Driver Safety Program will be offered again this spring. The updated refresher classroom course is geared to drivers age 50 and over. The program includes new material on how to assess drivers’ capabilities, how to adjust to changes in physical abilities and how to properly use new safety features and safety equipment in later model cars.

The course will be offered from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, April 30, and 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, at the Municipal Building, 19 Danforth St. Upon completing both sessions, participants will be awarded a certificate which will entitle them to an additional discount on auto insurance for three years if they are 55 or older.

The fee is $10 and refreshments are included. There are applications at the building or call Betty Gordon, instructor, at 603-539-7405. People should register by April 27.
