LIVERMORE FALLS – Ryan Jackson singled home a pair of runs with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning and Zack Keene singled home the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the 10th to lift Livermore Falls to a 10-9 come-from-behind win over Dirigo.

Keene finished the game with five hits for the Andies (2-1), including a solo home run, and also collected the win on the mound after pitching the final four innings.

Mike Durrell also hit a home run, his a three-run shot in the first inning, to aid the Livermore Falls cause.

Josh Daley swatted a pair of doubles for Dirigo (2-2), which played its second consecutive 10-inning game. Jon Smith went the distance for the Cougars in the loss.

Lewiston 16, Mt. Ararat 2

LEWISTON – Reliever Josh Leino stepped in for an injured Eddie West in the second inning and led Lewiston to a 16-2 rout over Mt. Ararat.

Leino struck out six while posting the win. The Blue Devils (2-2) were paced by Jon Paradis and Ryan Dube with three hits apiece, while Robbie Leeman belted two hits including a home run.

The Eagles (1-4) saw Taylor Ross and Adam Bertalli split time on the hill. Ross was saddled with the loss after Lewiston exploded for 15 runs in the third inning.

Mountain Valley 14, Hall-Dale 4

RUMFORD – Justin Stares belted a pair of hits and had three RBIs to lead Mountain Valley to a 14-4 victory over Hall-Dale.

Zack Thibodeau chipped in for the undefeated Falcons (5-0) with an RBI double.

Hall-Dale (2-3) was paced by Rich Lander with a two-run triple in the second inning.

Leavitt 6, Brunswick 2

TURNER – Tim Doyle had strong control on the mound, striking out seven batters en route to a 6-2 Leavitt win over Brunswick in baseball action.

Matt Paladino and Scott Redmon each had key hits, with Paladino’s knocking in the eventual game winner. Steve Rouillard and Evan Barker each hit doubles for the Hornets (2-2).

Dylan Chandler hit a double, while Duncan Lowe had two hits for the Dragons (3-2) effort.

Gardiner 12, EL 6

AUBURN – Kyle Stilphen blasted two homers, which included a three-run home run in the third inning and a two-run homer in the sixth inning, to lead Gardiner to a 12-6 win over Edward Little.

Dan Fortywe smacked a two-run double in the fourth for the Tigers (3-1), while Mike Abbott and Roland Kennerson each hit doubles for the win.

For the Eddies (0-4), Adam Lutz hit a double and later scored a run on a double by Kyle Buissiere.

Lisbon 8, Mt. Abram 3

SALEM – Kyle Naigle’s two-run single sparked a six-run seventh inning as Lisbon cruised to a 8-3 victory over Mt. Abram.

Naigle and Mike Underkuffler led the Greyhounds (3-1) with two hits and two RBIs, while Andy Ouellette added two hits. Joe Stevens allowed just one run in five innings and notched the win. The Roadrunners (2-3) were paced by Sean Boivin with three hits, while Pat Anthony and Wyatt Johnson added two each. Johnson was saddled with the loss.

Oak Hill 8, MCI 0

WALES – Josh Jillson hurled a no-hitter and got plenty of run support Wednesday as Oak Hill trotted to a 8-0 shutout over MCI.

Jillson struck out 13 for the Raiders (2-4), while also leading the offensive effort with a home run and three RBIs. Tom Edgecomb and Brandon Plourde also contributed with RBI double.

St. Dom’s 5, NYA 3

AUBURN – Richard Paradis hit a two run double and Willie Emerson followed with a triple as St. Dom’s rallied for a 5-3 victory over NYA.

Casey Parker and Paradis were repeat hitters for the Saints (2-0). Three St Dom’s pitchers combined for 11 strikeouts on the day.

Jay 3, Wiscasset 1

WISCASSET – Eric Clark had an RBI double to pace Jay to a 3-1 win over Wiscasset.

Nick Bourassa also had a double for the Tigers (2-2) win. Rocky Desanctis recorded the win on the mound, striking out six batters to do so.

Taking the loss for Wiscasset (2-1), pitcher Jim Davis fanned 10 batters.

Mt. Blue 9, Morse 4

BATH – Adam Gilbert belted a home run and struck out 10 batters in six innings to lead Mt. Blue to a 9-4 victory over Morse.

After Gilbert hit his solo shot in thes second inning, Justin Lowe added a three-run home run in the fourth. The Cougars led 9-0 before Morse chipped away. Lowe finished with three hits, while Gilbert, Curtis Steele and Bobby Duley added two hits apiece. Losing pitcher Riley Walker had two hits for Morse (1-3).

Lacrosse
York 12, St. Dom’s 3

AUBURN – Cam Dillon and Dan Powers each netted four goals a piece as York beat St. Dom’s 12-3 in boys’ lacrosse action Wednesday.

Corey Borgel tallied a pair of goals, while Alex Quinn and Tom Ross each had a goal as well. Tony Romano was credited with four assists for York (2-1). Nate Willette made 10 saves to preserve the win. The Saints (0-2) were paced by Ben Adams with two goals and Andrew Gwarjonski with one.

Hebron 13, Tilton 2

HEBRON – Bobby Thoits scored four goals and added an assist as Hebron posted a 13-2 win over Tilton.

Cameron Gosney had three goals and five assists, Charlie Cummings scored two goals, and Roman Gosney had one goal and three assists.

Brenden Beer, Austin Grande, and Ryan Gormley rounded out the scoring effort for Hebron.

The lone Tilton goal was notched by Pat Mckeon off a pass from Nick Marquis.
