AUBURN – Frank R. Preble was unanimously elected in January to the position of vice chairman of the Board of Governor’s Executive Committee at the Springfield Shriners Hospital.

His term will be for three years. In addition, he is vice chairman of the following committees: Performance Improvement, Strategic Planning and Joint Conference. He also serves on the Finance and Budget Committee.

Past Potentate Preble has served on the Board of Governor’s at Springfield for the last six years beginning in 2001. Prior to that, he served briefly at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Boston.

Preble served as potentate of Kora Shriners in 2001. He and his wife, Martha, reside in Auburn and have two children, Jake and Liza.
