Plant sale

NORWAY – The Second Congregational Church will host its annual hanging plant sale for Mothers Day from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 12. The sale will feature hanging baskets and annuals raised locally by Lloyd’s Greenhouses. The proceeds will benefit the Deacons Fund at the church. For more information, call 577-3146.

Perennial sale

NORWAY – His Place Teen Center Mothers Day plant and perennial sale will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, in Tere Porter’s parking lot, corner of Alpine and Paris streets. All proceeds will support His Place Teen Center.

The center is collecting for future yard sales and for the Alpha and Omega Thrift Shop now open. Ages 11 to 18 are invited to His Place from 6 to 9 p.m. Fridays.

4-H auction

FRYEBURG – Saco Valley 4-H Beef, Dairy and Sheep club will hold a Take-A-Chance auction from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at the Forestry Building at Fryeburg Fair Grounds. Drawing will begin at 7 p.m. There will be a food booth, $1 table and 50/50 raffle to benefit Mary Libby, who is battling cancer.

Yard sale

OXFORD – A benefit yard sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at the Oxford Congregational Church, King Street. Table rentals are $10 and can be reserved by calling Bob Walo at 210-2754. All rental fees will benefit Pam Mills and Randy Hicks, who lost their home to a fire in Otisfield.

Relay supper

OXFORD – The Relay For Life of Oxford Hills KeyBank Team will sponsor a benefit spaghetti supper from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at the Oxford Advent Christian Church, Route 26. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Oxford Hills. Donation will be accepted. Italian supper

OXFORD – An Italian night benefit supper will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at the Oxford Congregational Church, King Street. Cost is $7 for adults, $4 for children ages 5 to 12. and children under 5 are free. Proceeds will benefit Pam Mills and Randy Hicks, who lost their home to a fire in Otisfield.
