RUMFORD – The biggest fundraiser of the year is coming up Saturday, May 19, for the Rumford Hospital Auxiliary. The annual yard sale brings in more funds for the group than any of its other projects.

Again this year the sale is being held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. from the basement of 209 Lincoln Ave., the building where the VA had its clinic up until last year.

Every Friday from now until the sale, Auxiliary members will be at 209 Lincoln to accept donations of goods for the sale. People can also call Auxiliary President Barbara Belanger at 364-3648 for pickup.

The Auxiliary welcomes everything but clothing and major appliances. Tables, chairs, file cabinets, office and kitchen wares are already stockpiled.
