LEWISTON – A map published on Sunday’s front page identified a residence at the corner of Russell Street and Bellegarde Avenue as that of a registered sex offender. There is no registered sex offender living at that location. The location was pinpointed incorrectly using electronic mapping software to produce the map.
The registered sex offender linked to that pinpoint lives a short distance away on Russell Street.
