Bird ahead

GILEAD – The White Mountain National Forest will host an early morning bird walk in celebration of International Migratory Bird Day. U.S. Forest Service Wildlife Biologist Lesley Rowse will lead the walk over gentle terrain and help identify birds, many of which are returning north on their migratory journey from Central and South America, Mexico and the Caribbean. Come dressed for the weather and bring binoculars, camera, bird book and comfortable walking shoes.
