Educators to meet

OXFORD – Retired Educators of Oxford County will meet at 10 a.m. Friday, May 18, at the Oxford Legion Hall. Those who were employed in Oxford County public school until their retirement are welcome. Reservations are needed for dinner by calling Gloria Sawyer at 743-7677.

Sunday sermon

PARIS – “Lessons Learned at a 2-Year-Old’s Birthday Party” will be Silver Moore-Leamon’s sermon topic at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., South Paris, on Sunday, May 20. The service will begin at 10 a.m. Music will be by the choir and Forest Perkins, church organist. Renee Wales will lead the Sunday school.

Blood drive

NORWAY – Stephens Memorial Hospital will hold a blood drive from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, to benefit the Maine Blood Center. The drive will be held in the Harper Conference Center, Ripley Medical Arts Building, Stephens Memorial Hospital. Call Mike Rolfe at 743-5933, ext. 432, to make an appointment.
