AUBURN – Esther Wright, 93, of 100 Campus Avenue, Lewiston, died Friday, May 18, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin following a short illness.

She was born in Gardiner, July 17, 1913.

She was the widow of Averill Wright who died on Feb. 20, 1999.

She was employed at Knapp Shoe for 35 years until her retirement in 1987.

She is survived by one son, Ralph Wright and his wife, Eveline, of Lewiston; one daughter, Janice Perry of Gardiner; and six grandchildren.
