Watch program

JAY – The Jay Hill Neighborhood Watch Program will meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, at the Community Building. The topics will be fraud, personal safety and preparedness. Jay Officer Stephen Wilkinson will be the presenter. All Jay residents are welcome.

Plant sale

FARMINGTON – There will be a plant sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 2, on the lawn of the Holman Parish House next door to the First Congregational “Old South” Church, Main Street. It will feature perennials and other plants. The proceeds will benefit the final stage of the kitchen remodeling project at Old South Church. Donations of marked plants are welcome. Breakfast buffet

RANGELEY – The Wilhelm Reich Museum will host a community breakfast at 7 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, at the conference center on Dodge Pond Road. A breakfast buffet will be prepared by museum volunteers. Proceeds will benefit the museum’s scholarship program.

Each year museum gives three $300 scholarships to students graduating from the Rangeley Regional School. The Barbara Bruce Memorial Scholarship is given to a student interested in the arts. The Russell Wilkinson Memorial Scholarship is for students with general interests, and the Wilhelm Reich Museum Scholarship is for a student focusing on science.
