The Pennacook Art Center of Rumford recently received a $3,000 challenge grant from the Maine Community Foundation for start-up expenses to include training, promotion and office setup. The River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition is serving as fiscal agent. In addition, the art center is presenting gifts to all patrons, benefactors and sponsors supporting the center with donations of $100 or more. The gift of a reproduction of a drawing by Don Kerr was presented the coalition.
