Fortier Chapter
LEWISTON – The Dr. Paul Fortier Chapter 52, Association Canado-Americaine, will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, June 4, in the Senior Citizens Room of the Multi-Purpose Center.
On the agenda will be a report about the successful Soiree de Chansons featuring French Canadian folk musician Benoit Bourque, which the chapter sponsored at the Lewiston Public Library’s cultural center.
The group will also discuss plans for the annual year-end banquet, after which the chapter will go on hiatus for the summer. Following the meeting, members will have refreshments. More information is available by contacting Chapter President Jeanne Poulin at 783-0635.
Lodge to meet
AUBURN – Liberty Rebekah Lodge 94 will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, June 4, in the meeting room of the Grand Lodge, IOOF, 80 Caron Lane. The social time will be devoted to a display of hobbies when members bring something for show and tell. Snacks will be available.
During the meeting, which will begin at 7 p.m., a Flag Day program will be presented and first nomination of officers will take place. Noble Grand Doreen Locke suggests that members dress in red, white and blue.
Breakfast
SABATTUS – A buffet breakfast will be held from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Sunday, June 3, at the American Legion Post 135, Island Road. Cost is adults, $6; under 10, $3.
Sodality banquet
LEWISTON – St. Patrick’s Church Rosary Sodality will hold a banquet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, at Marco’s Restaurant. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Michael Seavey.
LA Toastmasters
LEWISTON – LA Toastmasters will be moving Tuesday, June 5, to the new conference room at the Chamber of Commerce located in the Business Service Center at Key Bank Plazas, 415 Lisbon St.
LA Toastmasters meets at 6:30 p.m. every first and third Tuesday of the month. Anyone wishing to join or for more information about Toastmasters, contact Jeanine Arey at 784-7833.
DAR session
WOOLWICH – Regent Sheila Desgrosseilliers has announced that the Burnt Meadow Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, will meet at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at the home of Deborah Kloberdans. Following the business meeting, a program, “Designs for a Young Nation – the Flag,” will be presented.
Camp activity
AUBURN – Modern Woodmen of America of Auburn will hold a Camp 8794 activity from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, at Roy’s All Steak Burger and Golf Range, Center Street.
Tickets must be purchased at Modern Woodmen of America, 67 Minot Ave., from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
