Legion Post 22 installs officers
LEWISTON – American Legion Post 22 recently installed officers for 2007-2008. Officiating was Department of Maine Second Vice Commander John Doyle and Tom Naragon, officer’s assistant.
Desserts and beverages were served by the Auxiliary. Post 22 meets every third Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Multi-Purpose Center, 145 Birch St.
Commander Don Dube stated as his goals for the coming year, “I will, to the best of my abilities, fulfill my obligations to the American Legion family; defending our Constitution, perpetuating Americanism and preserving the memories and incidents of our associations in the great wars. We will continue fulfilling our obligation to the community, state and nation and propagate the principles of justice, freedom and democracy.”
