LEWISTON – Carlton and Jeannette Plourde of Lewiston recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary at a gathering at C&J Hall in Lewiston. Party hosts were family members, and decorations were in silver and white with streamers and centerpieces.
Toastmaster was Hank Dupuis, brother of Mrs. Plourde, and Joan Prince had charge of the guest book.
Mr. Plourde and the former Jeannette Dupuis were married on May 1, 1982, at the Pastime Club in Lewiston.
The couple has a daughter, Joline Morin and husband, Persey Morin Jr. Grandchildren are Jenny Morin, Joshua Morin, James Morin and Ryan Mason. Great-grandchildren are Ethan, Tyler and Jordan.
Mrs. Plourde is disabled. Mr. Plourde retired from Bath Iron Works, where he was employed for 34 years.
Original wedding guests present were Joline Morin, Bert St. Cyr, Henry Dupuis, Sr. Lilliane Dupuis and Marie Plourde.
Guests attended from South Carolina, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Augusta, Farmington and Lewiston-Auburn.
