LEWISTON – Aubuchon Hardware picked up a pair of victories in recent Elliot Ave. Little League action, downing Healey, 9-2, and edging Dube Flower Shop, 2-1.
Jordan Charest notched the pitching victory against Healey, striking out eight over the six-inning route. Peter Tirabassi drove in two runs with a triple and a single. Reilly Bolduc cleared the bases with a three-run double. Jarcob Charest, Jordan Charest and Nic Perreault also cranked out hits.
Sam Morin, Eddie Emerson and Matt Bouchard delivered base hits for Healey.
Against Dube, Jordan Charest was the star at the plate, slapping a single, clouting a triple and knocking in the winning run. Bryan Hall and David Cusson each belted a double, with Jacob Charest and Tirabassi each collecting a single.
Hall and Cusson combined for the pitching victory. Hall racked up seven strikeouts, with Cusson securing the save.
Brian Wigant and Zach Phelan each picked up a hit for Dube.
