BUCKFIELD – Oscar Gammon was elected selectman Tueseday with 141 votes. Roger Bennett received 30 and Christopher Hayward received 97 votes.

Christopher Hayward won the assessor’s post with 222 votes.

Stacy Raymond was elected to the SAD 39 board with 230 votes.

The state road bond issue passed 183-91 and the water bond passed 152-121.

McCabe joins selectmen

HARTFORD – Hope McCabe was re-elected selectman Tuesday with 73 votes. In all, 157 voters turned out.

Dale McNeil received 48 votes and Steven Elsman received 23 votes.

The SAD 39 board vote went to Lynn Izzi with 137.

Jeremy Johnson was elected road commissioner with 141 votes.

Lianne Bedard was re-elected as town clerk, tax collector and treasurer for a three-year term.

The state road bond issue passed 98-57 and the water bond passed 91-64.

Sumner rejects water bond

SUMNER – Twelve percent of the town’s registered voters turned out Tuesday to vote on two state bond issues.

The road bond carried 50-26. The water bond lost 46-30.

Seventy-six of the town’s 641 registered voters cast ballots.
