LEWISTON – Paul D. Smith has joined TD Banknorth in Lewiston as a senior vice president in loan operations. He will serve as the loan operations executive for commercial, small business, consumer and mortgage loans.

Smith has 28 years of banking experience. Prior to joining TD Banknorth, he served as an executive at Bank of America and Fleet Boston Financial Group in Connecticut. Smith is a member of the Bank Administration Institute.

A Yarmouth resident, Smith volunteers with the American Heart Association. He is a native of Windsor, Conn., where he graduated from Windsor High School in 1971. Smith and his wife have two sons.
