LEWISTON – The drawing for positions for the ASA Men’s Slow Pitch Class D District 8 and 9 Softball Tournament is scheduled for tonight at 7:30 at the Randall Road Complex. Teams may send representatives to this public draw.
The ASA Men’s Slow Pitch Class D State Championship will be held in Lewiston-Auburn, July 13-15. In order to qualify, a team must participate in the District Tournament slated for June 23-24 and finish with a record of 2-2 or better.
Umps’ tourney results
AUBURN – Portland Pipe of Westbrook, and Lamoreau Construction of Bath were the winners in the Andy Valley Umpires Association Tournament. Portland Pipe took the Class C crown with a 3-0 record. BT Pallet of Lewiston was second with a 4-2 mark. Lamoreau captured the Class D title with a 5-0 record. Ball Busters of Lewiston finished in a tie for second with a 4-2 mark.
